Ten years of phones that came back to life

Os Phoenix started in 2016 as a single bench and a toolbox, fixing the handsets of neighbours in Brikama suba ward who had been told their phone was beyond saving. Word travelled the way it does here — one repaired screen at a time — and the bench turned into a shop, and the shop turned into the accessories counter you see today.

We work on everything from a D 900 itel to an iPhone, and we treat them the same way: open it, find the actual fault, quote the actual price. A lot of what we see has been "repaired" somewhere else first, so we've learned to be honest about what's fixable and what isn't. Roughly nine in ten phones that come through the door leave working.

We also sell the parts and accessories we'd want in our own pockets — chargers that don't cook your battery, cables that survive a rainy season, cases that actually fit. If you buy something here and it fails, come back. That's the whole policy.
